dont ask me, i didnt build it lol

Your alienware does not have 4x 590's inside, and your perception of the cost v parts is skewed.

If we got down to it you most likely paid maybe 3300$ for the parts, 2700$ for the name ALIENWARE.

Is your house specially wired for a 24AMP circuit? Cause US homes can only pull 1200w.

Agreed. What kind of house do you have that has non-specialty circuits >15A?

I ain't sayin I believe it...BUT...I think you could run 4x 590's in SLI....if you only put ONE 590 in comp...it doesn't report is as SLI even tho it has 2x 580 onboard. To the comp the 590 is still only ONE vid card.....now what I don't think is that you could power 4x 590's with one PSU....you CAN run 2 x PSU's in one comp tho..

As for the 1200W limit..in a house...that's ONLY on a 120v outlet...

if u run the PSU's on 220v they only draw 1/2 the amperage from the wall. That's why 220v A/C units cost less to run...electric bill wise.

ghot friend has 2x 590's its reported as quad sli he tried to add another 590 and it wouldnt recognize it also he needed to add another psu to even attempt to run the 3rd 1
