It's a Dell media keyboard. Laptop-style scissor switches. It's pretty decent to type on but I really want to replace it with a mechanical keyboard.

I tend to not post in these kinds of threads but I felt the urge. my wiring is really, really neat underneath as well. I hate cluttered desktops.

Thanks. It's indeed a 2003 G-400. It was my first "real" guitar and I love it. It's got a lot of history. The PC on the left is my Win7 gaming box and the PC on the right is my file/development server running NexentaOS. They are both in Antec 300 cases.

yea ive been looking for a good cheap scissor switch.. only ones i found were the logitech illuminated and enermax ones..

how much did that one cost you?

why is that mouse pad not being used with a mouse.. its a nice steelseries mouse pad but your using it to plop your stuff on top of? XD

and why do you have a decent keyboard but a shitty mouse from what I can see

I do use the mouse pad, it is a huge one is why I put other things on top of it... The mouse I have isn't a bad one... I don't need a gamer mouse so I just went with a good bluetooth mouse which still costed me about $30 bucks...
