its definitely a 3080 in the benchmarks not a 3070 as the GPU shows 10GB VRAM. Last screenshot is just comparisons based on what other people are using on that board.

They are also using 48GB ram which is really weird a 32GB kit and 16GB kit. I wouldn't be put off by this and can just remove the 16GB kit and use the 32GB kit as dual channel.

Are you able to get the specs printed on a terminal of the actual machine?

id get him to get CPUZ + GPUZ and tell him to take screenshots of those, just to see what youre actually getting, tell him you dont need benchmarks you need info on whats in the PC. Then tell him you want those screen shots

I just dont like buying stuff from someone else when its about computers, but if you know him irl you can give a try and test it for a week if that can happen
