yeah that's the thing with the newer processors on older sockets. if you buy a newer board generally it will be updated, but if not, you'll have to bring it to a PC shop to get the bios updated (bestbuy, memory express, microcenter) I've had one motherboard i actually had this problem with out of about 5
if you're worried about it you can go Intel and go i7-13600k / 13700k (600k is more similar to your gpu), also make sure the mobo its ddr4 if you're reusing your ram
