Battery doesn't hold charge already, on bootups/restarts it sits on black screen for 5-20 minutes. Just something to consider, I wish I would have spent an extra 300 on the Asus that was next to it

Battery would depend on how you used it, did u always have it plugged in the adapter when u didn't need to use it without?

Blackscreen also sounds related to your battery problem.

Asus is actually more known to have issues with their laptops, but there's too much variables for laptops like user error, getting the odd unit etc. Doesn't really matter other than hp cuz their cooling design is pure trash then again it's been a while
