I just thought of another option...
You can put the 1TB in your comp. Then use the free program: AOMEI Backupper to make a backup of your OS install (64GB drive), and store it on the 1TB.
Then make a folder on the 1TB for any important stuff that's still on the 500GB, and move (copy) that stuff to the folder.
Then format the 500GB and use AOMEI Backupper bootable USB stick that you will need to make, to restore the backup you made... TO the 500GB.
/ee OR...
Put the 1TB in your comp, boot from the 64GB. Make a folder on the 1TB and move any important data from the 64GB and the 500GB to that folder or folders, on the 1TB.
Then format the 500GB. Then take the 64GB out of the comp, and do a clean install of Win 10 on the 500GB.
all good now, I'm running smooth on my 1TB SSD with all files transferring over and just now installing shit. Got my old 1TB HDD hooked up and then a 500GB SSD for spare use too. tthanks for help
