Unless you do video rendering or streaming you don't really need a 16thread cpu tbh. Most games don't utilize more than 8.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MKGWRJ - Same build but better GPU, would go longer before needing to upgrade that (since it's a universal socket, it can carry over from build to build, both amd and intel).

/e You CAN overclock with the first build, but you won't have nearly the headroom. You'll be limited by thermals before you push beyond stock boost frequencies TBH.
