I like the case.

e/ my current build uses an s340

They have the 8700k for $300 and another $30 if you buy a motherboard with it.
don't like the nano s much.
why does everyone recommend an aio. Same temps just more points of failure.
I mean yeah it probably looks a bit better but meh. I thought about the kraken x52 though.

A lot of people want a 15lb cooler on their shit. That's why the noctua is so highly rated and so popular.

It's incredible how quickly your argument turns into name-calling because you struggle to justify your opinions.

also how is pulling in warm air because of the radiator in front going to be any better for the gpu?

Put it this way, you're spending $85 on the cooler, and spending another $50 for the fans, on top of another $30 for the cover. So you're investing about $160+ on a cooler/aesthetics, which isn't bad or anything cuz that's your preference, but most people wouldn't invest that much when there's ton of AIO options like h100i v2, h115i pro, clc etc.etc. for $80-100

Yeah and I've started thinking about this too when looking at the numbers. I ordered a 2080 which is too big for a front mounted radiator :/

currently 100% open to all cooling options.

So the gpu I ordered for 700 shipped no tax, is just over 300mm long. too long to use a front radiator.

however if I cancel that order and go with a different card I will have barely enough clearance for a radiator.

The smaller card is also less wide which gives it more clearance above the psu shroud to help with cooling.
e/ also 3 year warranty vs zotacs 2 year.

gpu I ordered for 700 shipped - https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=cart_accessories&A=details&Q=&sku=1431192&is=REG&bundleId=1431192REG
smaller gpu for 790 shipped i'm considering - https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1432501-REG/evga_08g_p4_2182_kr_geforce_rtx_2080_xc.html

thoughts on spending the extra 90 for the evga and going with an aio?

I'm leaning this direction more and more.
