MLC vs 3D NAND

https://www.neweggbusiness.com/smartbuyer/buying-guides/ssd-buying-guide/

3D V-NAND
Pros: Larger storage capacities, lower prices
Cons: Performance on par with TLC SSDs and slightly slower than MLC

The 3D NAND should in theory last longer but were talking 1.5m vs 2m hours running.
This won't play a role in shit for consumer end uses.

I don't think this is what you meant?

Memory Modules c,d
8072 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory

Slot 'ChannelA-DIMM0' is Empty
Slot 'ChannelA-DIMM1' has 4096 MB
Slot 'ChannelB-DIMM0' is Empty
Slot 'ChannelB-DIMM1' has 4096 MB

how can i check ram specific specs?

thank you so much! what is 2 dimms?
edit- quick google search answered my question

could you link me to an example possibly?

also, I'm thinking of getting a 4gb stick for now and then possibly another 4gb stick later, it would be better financially at the moment. it should operate the same as 1 8gb right?

edit2 -

does this one look good? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220774

You should try to match the sticks you have exactly. If you take a stick out, you should be able to read the model number on the other side of the RAM stick.

I always thought it was dumb to put the RAM model number on the side that faces the CPU. I mean...duh. :D
