Air coolers
-Better price:performance ratio
-Less overall noise
-No chance of leak.

AIO's
-Better high end performance
-More sleek looking when installed.

It's not like a wind turbine or anything, but you have a water pump making noise, usually 2 fans, and the radiator fins are a bit more restrictive (more wind noise from the air coming through. If you play with music or headphones on, you probably wouldn't notice, but my tower is so quiet I can hear the electricity running through the LED strip in my case.

How do you know you won't in the future? And even then, depending on what you have, a cooler may not be the limiting factor for overclocking.

to be fair your evo 212 is pointless running at stock speeds.

I originally bought the evo for the fx 6300 which I was overclocking. Then, after I upgraded to the i7 2600 I still continued to use the Evo 212. It's a beautiful cooler and works great. Been going strong for a while now.
