I'd strongly recommend coughing up the extra dough for the i5-8600k and a Croyrig H7, will be able to last you an extra year or 2 with overclocking.

The problem with these prebuilts is there's no specs on the mobo or psu....
You asked for a build under $1k which I provided and you still wanted cheaper..so how much exactly are you trying to spend here? Both builds are under your budget when you factor in the inflation price of the 1060 currently for the second build.

As others have stated building a PC should not be your deciding factor here, building a PC is not as difficult as it seems and you can learn a decent amount by putting one together yourself.

it's a non oc cpu so it'll be fine with the cooler it comes with
