Thanks for all the help.

Just need to look for a Monitor now at some point but I'm not too worried about it and I probably should buy some thermal paste lol but all the main things are good to go.

Get Zalman ZM STG-2 thermal paste. Order that now. The stuff that comes pre-applied is not that good.

the stock paste is fine.
unless your going for some insane oc's thermal paste ain't going to matter all that much.

I disagree. The Zalman stuff is awesome. It's a big ass tube, probably 8-10 applications worth.

As for it quality I've been running the same application on my comp since I built it... 4.5 years ago.



/e The main reason though for getting a tube is if you for anyreason ever have to take the CPU cooler off...you will need more to replace the old thermal paste.

Stock paste is fine, It will easily last years.
As for your *main reason , I guess but then ANY paste works.

Last question actually.

I was just told that using a 144hz monitor with something lower than for the second screen puts a lot of stress on the GPU. Is this true?
Because I'm going to be looking for a 144hz monitor and use my old one as a second screen so that I can have all my streaming stuff on it like the chat ect..
