I like AMD processors.

Even after using an 8320 for 5 years? You're the salt of the earth, Sparkuggz.

You're in luck too because unlike the 8320 was even when it came out, Ryzen is super competitive with Intel's latest offerings.

Awesome! Although I'm rusty so I took apart my computer, deep cleaned, new thermal paste but it took me a long time to reassemble, but it powers on, lights up blue, but no monitor display, I'm hoping I disconnected something wrong and didn't kill a part from handling it so much.

Good to practice this 5 year rust now then screw up a brand new computer.

Any ideas? Maybe backwards cpu cable or gpu?
Or a part finally went bad

Make sure the vid card is fully seated, especially at the front (may have to loosen the vid card screw a turn or so).
Make sure the RAM is fully seated.

A lot of times after a good cleaning, some dust ends up IN the vid card or RAM slots. I use a small artists paint brush with the bristles cut down about half way, to clean the slots.

Thanks, I was gonna fully take it apart but if the CPU is good which it seems, ill redo both the gpu and ram, check for tiny dust particles

Well finally everything came in did a bit of waiting and I ended up getting this build, thanks to all helped, kinds combined the lists, but i built it last week Thursday, it went great.

Over 100fps in games so far
Idle cpu temp is 21-27 C.
Had WoW on ultra and it didn't even go over 45 C

Love the arctic board with all the fan ports, adding those 2 fans to the front was clutch. All white and light built looks so sick inside, and the case is amazing cable management!

Here's the build

Ended up getting the video card right from Evga, rest was from newegg!
