What is better about this one ?

not much really.. just throwing the option out there..

better ssd, better psu, ryzen (AMD) has better overclocking capabilities and life, not to mention higher L1,L2,L3 cache and multithreading capabilities, gfx card is better IMO. larger heat sync, and 3 fans vs the 2 on the msi, not to mention slightly cheaper with a higher clock rate. the cpu cooler has 1/2 sized rad, however it has a higher throughput of coolant ( better in my experience, when overclocking or running stock speeds).

the i5 is nice but does run hot. it is better for gaming in comparison to the 1500x. but only slightly. it really all depends on what you are planning to use the rig for? gaming? go with the i5. if you are going to be doing more photoshop/music production/video editing, IMO; amd is far better.

ive also added a mechanical drive to the amd option, to pagefile on and extend the life of the ssd and increase your storage..

.. for me. i wont pay the rediculous price intel wants for technology they havent been able to truely improve on / or to come out with anything that has a completely new architecture.

just my opinions.. take them as you will.

cool man thanks, i don't know much about this stuff so asking for help here, and yes will mainly use the pc for gaming i have changed a gpu to evga one
Also as for the i5 i will most probably go for that... will the Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler be enough for it??
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Kinkypete/saved/kxqnQ7 have a look this is my last change i think, also i will add a hdd to the build

i was just doing a little reading on the i5 8600k cpu.. youll be able to save a few pounds by downgrading to slower speed ram.

CPU Type: Intel Core i5
- CPU Model: 8600K
- Socket: 1151
- Architecture: Coffee Lake
- Manufacturing Process: 14 nm
- No. of Cores: 6 Core
- No. of Threads: 6
- Core Ratio: 36 x
- Clock Speed: 3.6 GHz
- Turbo Speed: 4.3 GHz
- DMI Speed: 8 GT/s
- Max. Memory Size: 64 GB
- Max. Memory Speed: DDR4 - 2666
- Max. Memory Channels: 2 (Dual Channel)
- Max. PCIe Lanes Supported: 16
- Processor Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630
- Base GPU Speed: 350 MHz
- Max. GPU Speed: 1150 MHz
- Max. GPU Resolution: 4096x2304 (4K) @ 60Hz
- IntelĀ® Smart Cache: 9MB
- Max. TDP: 95W

revised your edited build again. changed a few items. changed cpu to the exact same one; offered cheaper, vid card is a "deal of the day" slightly better than the other one (if you have the money for it today), changed ram to cpu limits of 2666, changed your dvd burner from lg to an asus one, and upgraded your psu to a 750w (personal preference to not run a psu at more than 75-80% load)

e/ you should really consider a mechanical drive to pagefile your OS on. it will dramatically increase the life of your ssd. (i run a 20gb partition on 3 of my storage drives (60gb total=overkill) with the pagefile split across the 3, if one drive fails, the other 2 pick it up. there is a finite number of reads and writes on a ssd. more reads than writes obviously.

Awesome, thanks on the ram tip! also why gigabyte 1080 and not evga??? any reason for that? also what do you mean by page filing? :o

the vid card was a deal of the day had a slightly higher clock rate, and was cheaper.

explanation of a pagefile:

A swap file (or swap space or, in Windows NT, a pagefile) is a space on a hard disk used as the virtual memory extension of a computer's real memory (RAM). Having a swap file allows your computer's operating system to pretend that you have more RAM than you actually do.
