Because of your profile is disgusting and should be removed, also poorly reflects on you as a human being

I recommend getting the 8600k if you can, so you can take advantage of your z370 mobo :) it's also cheaper than the 7700k and is an absolute monster in performance

but it's not available... You can get the 8400 but mind you, you're paying (useless money) for a board that cannot take advantage of the locked 8400

now that i think of it, you could buy the 8400 now, and then sell it and then get the 8600k later? however, i really commend just waiting for availability trying to get the 8600k

oh ok, so you're still mad that you have a personal problem you cant deal with due to your narrow minded ignorance. If it should be removed, it would've been. Too bad majority of the people don't view a 28yr old asian as a child like you do though.

So you recommend OP to spend $70 more on a CPU that isn't available, just so he can take advantage of the z370 mobo? How so?? by OCing? do you even know he will overclock? or if $70 is worth ~10fps boost to OP?
8600k is a poor price / perf CPU, and intel is pretty much schooling ppl like you to buy the 8600k instead of 8400 just because of the fact that they only have z370 boards available atm.
It's also not useless money he is spending because he needs it to use a 187$ CPU that outperforms 7600k for cheaper. What do you not understand about this?

8400 is also much cheaper than 7700k and 8600k and is an absolute monster in performance for the cost you pay. Oh but don't get it! because you're overpaying like $40 on a mobo you NEED, instead spend $70+ more on a CPU you may or may not even overclock with, and also that isn't available because you can take advantage of the mobo!! that extra 10fps will be worth the $70+ premium. -john miller.
how about he just spends the extra on a 1060?

he's not wrong, you don't buy 8400 only to sell it right away for a 8600k.

And you know if he is? You're making just as much assumptions.

I did not say "sell it right away", btw, that's just you distorting/interjecting words in my mouth, which is kinda of sad tbh. I said later, if he wanted to upgrade he could sell it and take advantage of the z370 mobo.

and the 8600k is far cheaper than the 7700k and performs better

Edit: Also, lol @ 28 yr old, you sir.. need to seek help

Lol you are jealous

Fyi depending on vendor he could be taking advantage of many features of a z board even with a locked cpu

Lol, except the mobo that Secksii told him to buy DOESN'T HAVE the bclk strap on it. only the asrock boards can do that on the 8400 is what is being reported right now
