I don't think I've updated BIOS, but did use the uninstall driver program (DDU?) and reinstall GPU driver.
BIOS update is a must. If the motherboard shipped with one of the first BIOS versions this could cause major instabilities.
Like I made this Stream/Media Server
CPU: Ryzen R7 1700 3.9GHz
GPU: MSI GT 1030 Passive Cooled
Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350M Gaming3
Cooler: Corsair H100i
RAM: 2x8 16GB G.Skill Flare X 3200MHz
PSU: Corsair RM750x Gold
SSD: Crucial MX300 275GB
HDD: 5x 3TB WD Red
Case: Fractal Design Node 804
I did update BIOS instantly. But after having an weird unstable OC, where i had to flash BIOS from new it actually went back to the first BIOS versions without my knowledge, where i fought hours with unstable network card, unstable RAM and a BIOS interface impossible to work with.
I then noticed it rolled back the BIOS version, so i updated to the newest version again and it fixed all the mentioned instabilities.
