from my little research on google, apparently windows 10 supports dx12 which games like BF1 would need, so I guess get 10


Yeah the first few weeks when the OS came out nearly fucking 2 years ago.
I actually gained a few percent fps increase in a few titles when I upgraded 1.5 year ago.

So maybe update your info like at least once a year before giving your opinion on the subject.

And skylake, Kaby Lake and ryzen aren't full supported either.

its not just whjen it released. tbh it has issues after various updates this is why I say deffered updates are important if uptime is key.
you get security patches and all non security rekated are delayed till bugs are fixed.

Microsoft just "patched" Windows 7 etc., so it would not work on Ryzen and Kaby Lake.
Nothing in either CPU line prebvents them from working on Windows 7 or 8.1.


There are already community made "patches" that will undo the Microsoft made patches, so you CAN run Win 7/8.1 on Ryzen and Kaby Lake.
