If doing piece by piece I would do something like...

1.Hard drive, Case, DVD Drive (if want that), case fans if one isn't in front and back - these prices don't really fluctuate
2. Power Supply - $100ish item depending on how good it is ofc
3. CPU/Mobo/RAM - expensive single purchase. Would do cpu/Mobo at the same time and wait on ram if u have to
4. GPU - lots of money on single part
5. SSD - SSDs are high in price atm

Over budget but I wouldn't build a computer with anything less

Most definitely wait for ryzen 5

Like i said, i'm fine with going a little over if its worth it.
I dont know much about actually building pcs and what i need so all/any info helps

waiting for ryzen r5 will definitely allow for a little more wiggle room for other parts which is why I recommend waiting.

Only thing i can think of is that it would be out of date by the time you buy every piece. I should have everything done in 1-2 months tops.

True. And I can't see why you wouldn't just save up and get it all at once or at least within the refund time.

I could do that, but if i save up the money at once, my mind will think about building a New AR15 LOL.

parts come in defective all the time

you wont find out until you put it together
