Well I'm on the nvidia geforce + gsync team. Only because I had a really high budget and was able to get a monitor with 144hz 1440p the gsync was just a plus not a must.

Personally I do not think it's worth paying almost 150$ extra to get a monitor with gsync.
So only go for gsync if you have above 500$ budget.

Enable Vsync if you get screen tearing in some games.
