Do those overclock at all? I would totally get one if I could overclock it to 96hz+ like my Crossover.

You play cs:go? You need 144hz. Here is the cheapest 144 hz monitor available, its still very nice. Its what I use.

Use dvi to plugi into your pc and hdmi for your console

Freesync not worth the extra money imo

Not in CS:GO..? It stops tearing when your framerate fluctuates. Assuming this guy can actually maintain a solid 144 fps, it shouldn't matter.

You don't NEED 144 hz.What you do need if you want to play competitively is a low response time.

he'll be getting like 300+ fps in CS:GO

what difference does freesync make on a 144hz? I've had my 144hz monitor for over a year now and I've never used vsync on it once, playing like 30 different games and I've never seen my screen tear once.

When I used to game on my 60hz monitor it was a totally different story tho.

hmm good point im just saying in my experience 144hz 1ms are better than just ur standard 60hz. also 144hz will make sure no screentearing or alot less anyways.

Negative.

And if someone has to explain what the two different modules do then why is everyone recommending them?

Both Gysnc and Freesync are designed to smooth out game play for when those times your FPS randomly drops so that your game play doesn't feel like it was interrupted.

Conclusions:

Is 144 worth it at the current price point? Hell no
Is gsync/freesync worth the cost? Yes
Buy a low latency monitor.

This only happens when you are using VSYNC. There is no need for Vsync on a 144 hz monitor.

The cheapest 24" freesync monitor (4ms response time, not even low) is only $20 less than the 144hz I linked, if 144hz is not worth it how is freesync worth it?
