so basically that build will cost about 2200 with peripherals

do these parts really justify spending an extra 700 compared to the pre built version I listed? why? I really am not trying to be difficult but it seems like a lot of extra money to "upgrade" and a lot of extra risk in buying parts that I have to assemble and have 0 clue how to put together

I had no idea what the fuck i was doing either

but its literally legos

watch the full video, thats what made me learn and now ive built 10 pc's (not a lot to some people, but its so fun

If you are only looking at playing games like WoW and D3 it is more than enough to get a 1070 and honestly you could probably go with the 6500k as well.

ye i have a 1070 SC and 6600k and its more than enough for wow + triple monitors

this is a newb question but why is triple monitors relevant? I never understood why multiple monitors were useful

is 1070 referring to the prebuilt or the pcpartspicker build? would you say the 1200 pcpartpicker is better than the 1500 prebuilt I linked?

more screens open at once for me imo

main one is for games

right monitor is for web browsing

left monitor is OBS + Spotify and such

I honestly will never be able to use a pc again without atleast 2 monitors.

They most likely used cheap parts in the pre-built.. Notice they didnt tell you the name of the power supply, motherboard, ssd, hdd, or memory. They probably put the cheapest parts into that computer. No after market cooler either. You want quality parts with known brands.
