/e In real life the advantages of the 6700K are hyperthreading, running more crap all at the same time. Being able to hit 4.8Ghz a lot easier than you could on a 6600K. :)

If you want WoW maxed out and do a lot of raiding and shit, get the i7 if you can afford it. If you're trying to save money, the i5 will do fine.

Yea raiding is an issue with my current build. lose like 50 frames. tried bf1 barely get 30-40 fps on low ..

Only reason it says, incompatible on those builds I gave ya, is because there is no CPU cooler, in there. :)

yea i have a cooler atm . dont really need a new one ...at least right now

All i did was change the RAM because of a combo deal with the CPU. Same speed and size.

wow does not utilize the extra threads..
It's simply not coded that way and to say otherwise is foolish.

6600k If all you run is your game and teamspeak/ mumble ect. and some web browser tabs.

6700k If you Game, stream your games, Edit videos for your game and run 2 virtual machines with wow farming bots running in the background
