I don't like arguing with people so I am just going to say.

Okay.

Do you know how many times OCZ has gone out of business in the last 5 years...three times. ^^

do you already have a case?

No, I really want the 760t but now I'm starting to question how much I want it since it would essentially be an extra 100 vs the cheaper cases.

Ah, I just read some reviews on SSD's and saw that they were decent so I added that in there.

They use Toshiba controllers now. They are just fine.

You shouldn't buy a combo to sell stuff. You will get better RAM/PSU if you part it yourself.

You should really tell us the price you want to keep it around so we can work with that. With the games you listed a 1060 would be fine. If you wanted to upgrade it later you always could.

Might be 7 years...but they almost died coz of their shyty PSU...then bought PC Power & Cooling...that saved them.
Then they fucked that up and almost died again
Then they bought something to do with SSDs...and so far....they are still afloat.

I don't just randomly pick parts. I do my research. The parts I put in a build are the gfg ones.

@OP. I'm sorry if it doesn't fit your budget. Just putting it out there so you know.

I'd like to keep it under 1k, since I have to buy a monitor as well.

Is there a reason to choose the 1060 over the new rx 480's? I thought I read a review/benchmark tests that showed the 480's could outperform the 1060's but not come close to the 1070's while even crossfired.

I like the 1070's for "future proofing" and the fact I probably won't upgrade for a long time.

I appreciate your posts, that way I can see another way of working it. Still considering doling out some extra cash for a more future proof and well put together PC. Wifey just might kill me haha.

Lmao! Gonna have to steal that line from you.

Reading some bad things about jet, maybe it's just easier to spend an extra 30 lol
