Good idea upgrading to a quad core
Games don't need more than 8g of ram really, (doesn't hurt to have more though)
single graphics cards will almost always be a better bang for the buck than bridging two together

Buy an external HDD if needed, and CPU fan isn't need since no overclock, but it would help with acoustics
