That is good. Nice mobo choice, and I'm glad you got the 6700K. Also the monitor is a better choice as well.

6700K vs 6600K isn't a tiny margin of improvement.
6700K is the best gaming processor on the market at the moment. And it also keeps up with workstation processors since it has Hyper threading compared to 6600K having no Hyper threading.
Also, since the release of the new processors it has dropped in price and it has pretty much the same bang for buck as the 6600K give or take 1-3%. For $100 more it is definitely the better processor for this system.
M.2 are beneficial vs a 2.5 SSD. The Write/Read speed is 3x faster. If you are only gaming games will load 2-3x faster, and you won't really see much else improvement since it isn't really noticeable.
But if you do any Video Editing or anything else Workstation related, you will definitely be able to tell the difference.
