Well maybe I'll try out other games that I normally couldn't with previous computers. Or try multiboxing..Always wanted to try that.

Any other advice? I'll have the money in 2 weeks so unless anything changes, hardware wise, or anything then I'm all good to order?

/e I keep reading about coil whine for the gpu. Should I worry about that or can I prevent that from happening?

Well I think there is a small chance on any cards.
But just return that shit if so.

But Gigabyte, Asus, Evga and MSI got some freaking top notch quality.

I also read this gpu is huge and would recommend a larger tower.. is that needed or would this cases cable management not intefere?

For other guy.. multiboxing wow not so much d3.

i just got a similar build, just built it this weekend, getting like 130+ fps average on d3 on maximum settings (even if im downloading something or have other shit up)

i dont know much about multiboxing but i imagine i could run 4x blizzard games with 60+fps in 1080p if i wanted to.

Well how frequently are you wanting to do multi box and how many instances would be the better question.

My understanding is wow bogs the hell down in hordes or w/e. 6700k you may be lucky to hit 4-5 in a horde that would be playable. Again never played the game, but I do know it's cpu intensive in those parts.

Yeah that would max out all the games and still get the 144fps to sync with 144hz monitors.
You even have a 60Hz monitor, when using Vsync, your card would have an easy time.

So yeah this PC is actually a bit overkill for your needs.
Taking the hardware performance increase the past 7 years into considering.
This system would be relevant even 6 years into the future. And at this point your could most likely just put in a new GPU and the system would do fine for more years to come.
BUT! I can't see into the future, this is based on what happened the past 7 years in hardware.

This can even be overclocked.

Explain?
I think it gives a pretty good idea the processing power between the cpus.
