There are a software where you can choose 3 different clock modes.
But meeh why not just overclocked. the fans are not even running when not gaming anyways.

Either one is a great choice. The X version is a tiny bit faster (and more expensive). The difference is so small..less than 100 mhz. I doubt that equates to more than than 2-3 additional FPS in games.

Think I'm going with the Gigabyte G1 tbh. Some early reviews seem to be saying great things about it, at least.
