Even if you get a buyer, for your old comp...the 6700K at least has an Intel 530 IGP, I believe.

For the RAM, if I am trying not to go much over $1300, should I get the trident z or is the ram I have picked out good enough?

Also should I order these parts exactly from the merchants form pcpartpicker or can I use Amazon or something?

You can use any e-tailer you want. BUT, pcpartpicker, by default, chooses the e-tailer with the lowest price.
