Thanks for everyone's time. Iv looked at both of them. They're both good. At this point though I'm so far out of the game, almost two years behind in tracking technology. I think I have some research to do. I'm stuck up in Cambridge Bay (Arctic circle) for a bit. I'll do some reading tonight and tomorrow.
I realize now asking for a build is a waste of your time where I will likely buy some parts here or there till August when I fully assemble.
Although suggestions are welcome as it provides me good food for thought and a jumping point to research the suggestions you guys make.
... I didn't even know I couldn't use my ddr3 ram anymore.
CPU Intel Skylake architecture is currently the shit for pretty much everything. Z170 chipset if you wanna overclock with the K models.
Broadwell-E just came out mostly for enthusiasts them 6-10 cores with x99 mobo's
CPU Zen architecture is coming out soon. I'm having my doubt about it tho.
Nvidia's Pascal 1000's series just came out this month. Quite a performance boost compared the jumps from 400-900 series.
Big Pascal is not coming out for another half a year or so (1080TI and Titan)
AMD just pronounced their new polaries RX 480. Which is quite nice TPD and performance for budget.
But Skylake i5, z170 mobo, pascal or polaries, 8 or 16GB DDR4 RAM is tha shit currently.
