okay so running into an issue

on the Asus x99a he couldnt get it to post on 1st start, so i had him do the normal things and reset cmos, now the board won't turn on at all, it has full led power, everything is on but the led number display, and the board wont turn on.

we have done normal things like reseating EVERYTHING, leaving gpu out reset cmos multiple times, switch ram slots, tried less rams, different ram, etc. board is still powered with leds, but wont turn on.

ideas?

Which Q Code is the debug LED giving you? The LED is located on the bottom of the board under the PCIe Slots to the left of the TPM header.

no codes, board wont power on, only the leds are turning on for it.

We removed the cpu, seems there is a random pin that may be missing on it so working on an RMA for it now

Answer: No.

cant update a bios when the board doesnt even turn on lol................


anyway, RMA is set up, we discovered the issue, it's the mobo.
