You considering potentially upgrading the GPU in the future while keeping that PSU?

What about going with somethin' like this, for possibly the same $$ as the 750 B (since they're not purchasing for a month or so)

Full Mod
Gold
plenty of watts since they're not overclocking

What you think?

I think the 750 is still a better choice. Gold rating and full modularity don't actually bring anything to the system (unless he wants to buy custom sleeved cables for his 24 pin and cpu pins), and the quality between the g2 and the b2 is very similar if not identical.
It's also, sufficient wattage but lower than ideal wattage. The higher the wattage the lower temps and noise will be when you are taxing the system.
Additionally a PSU is most efficient at around 50% usage, so again it would be ideal to get a wattage where you sit closer to 50% usage during load, which will not happen on a 550 watt if you are using a beefy gpu.
If he does that giant 30 dollar rebate, no question the 750 is the optimal choice :)
