Since your set on buying new it looks good but add a ssd damn it.
I'll find you and mushroom slap you if you don't get an ssd.

haha
I'll probably end up getting a SSD since they've gone down in price so much over the years.

pick a case u like

cx psu are junk, there are better options like seasonic/superflower oems
no need to get a k version of CPU if ur not going to overclock.
2500k is a very good chip to OC
ssd would be very good for PoE, d3, WoW

Well, I still may end up overclocking it in the future and I'd like the option. I just need to do more research as it kind of makes me nervous for whatever reason.

What's wrong with the CX PSU? Is it just that specific series that is not as good as others? Should I stay away from all CX series?

Also, how in the hell is the i5-2500k still so good that you guys don't think it's worth upgrading to the i5 6660k? That thing came out like 5 years ago and still holds I guess?

that's why it's considered one of the best intel CPU chips lol
cx is a budget psu, it used to be good when there werent many options in the past without spending much. Now, there's GG oem's like seasonic and superflower that sell for around the same price

So my current build (adding a SSD and different PSU) is good?

I dont know what power supply you have. That may need an upgrade? But adding an SSD such as the SAMSUNG EVO would be a huge increase as well as a new GPU. I would suggest R9 390X, powercolor water cooled one is on sale for $379 after rebate.

Yeah. Since you already have a 2500K just wait until the new chips to upgrade

Added the Power Supply and I'm going to wait to see the new GPUs in a couple months.

When do the new chips come out? If it's not too long I'll wait around and see.

Should I stick with the ASRock mobo or do you guys have another one in mind? ASRock is still good for mobos, right?
