alright so with this build posted above it is 1550, adding the windows 7 professional SP1 64-bit it takes the order to 1730$

which is in my budget

is there something I should swap in the build posted?

Why would u need win7 professional?

Here, I changed a few things,.. in short you get a cool theme (red/black), better motherboard, cheaper, but less storage space (just about average).

edit: Also with this processor 6600k, you can overclock it easily with 1 button with this motherboard,.. the benefits is you get more processor speed, though you wont notice it if you dont use apps or games that require that much of cpu.

My suggestion to you is dont overclock it, I know you arent a pc extremist so it wont make any difference to you, its an extremely good processor as it comes already.

As you posted nicely Ill tell you, people used to overclock processors to get more out of a processor back then, but nowadays the processors are a lot stronger than any regular use, so basically what Im saying is, you can overclock it, but most likely you wont need it.

This build is performancewise worse than the one i put together in 2 minutes lol

390x vs 390
2tb vs 1tb
Cheaper mobo vs expensive mobo (ur not ocing, so wont matter what mobo u have)

I can ofc change some pieces for estetics, but i dont honestly ever care about how my pc looks on the inside, aslong as cable management is good enough for best air flow. Also i would choose the fractal design define S instead as chassi

If you're actually planning to spend ur max budget, u might as well overpay for i7 over i5 instead of overpaying for 390x over the 390. You'll end up upgrading the GPU sooner than the cpu.
Otherwise save urself couple hundreds and just get i5/390, since it's overkill for your needs anyways
