750 ti is a good bet. Just eBay some ddr2 and Craigslist the gpu

Yah, My courses are only 4,700$ atm.
But i'm terrible at saving but either way i'm going to save what i can.

Look for a gtx 750 then.
The thing is cards like the 240 or 250, while cheap, are you know, 70% of the cost of a gtx 750, but about 20% of the performance. so they are really bad for the money. So by spending an extra 20-30% you can gain nearly 80% more performance. (it's just a weird performance cut off, once you start spending 80+ the performance scales linearly for the most part)


It is literally just a bad decision to dip that low. You can find used 750's for about 90 on e bay if you can stretch the extra couple bucks, it's highly advised you go with that option.
You can also look at a 260x, it's just about identical to a gtx 750 ti and a R7 260 is about the same as a 750
i see a 2gb 260x on ebay right now for 85.
