would've been more believable if that was the case, but apparently he found 2 seperate ones but identical

also @ m7 and 950

Yes and while the psu and board were fried the CPU was perfect.

Weren't 950s released late last year like November?

@OP I'm going to call you Walt Disney because you spin a good tale. How about some pics? Isn't your main PC an FX 8350 or some shit?

yes my main is a fx 8350.

yes in one computer the psu and board was fried, and yes the cpu still works, surprisingly; not saying perfect condition, but it still works.

.. believe or dont, thats every one of your choices to all that read here on the forums. people throw away perfectly good items every day in the garbage. "one mans garbage is anothers treasure" ..

as a sidenote, i jumped the gun on the m2 ssd, it in fact is dead (but still shows in bios?) and the 690 i also pulled from the same rig has two blown capacitors i didnt notice last night. (both items pulled from the same rig that had the fried mainboard and psu). early excitement on my behalf when i mounted it in a test pc and the fans spun up/ basic cga vid showed up on my screen.

pics will come later this morning once i finish/complete the build and get it installed.

It must be nice to live where people don't warranty newer PC parts and just throw them away.

I would warranty the 950, CPU and motherboard. Instant profit

Calling bullshit here - post a pic of all findings, including blown/bad hardware.

Did anybody else notice he 'found' two identical EVGA's 690 hydro coppers? I mean, I know some businesses that dump some fairly decent hardware but nothing really consumer-grade.

Yes. What's the chances of finding 2 of them even in different places. They were so high priced when new that a lot of people passed them over.

the better part of yesterday was spent fixing the one 690. i took the card with me and obtained the proper capacitors to replace the blown ones. after an hour of fighting with it i started assembling the rig. part way through i decided to go shopping for a few upgrades for the rig. i bought an evga sli clip to obv SLI the cards, and a h110 cooler.

looks similar to this, dont have a digital camera :\

everything is working.. including the card i removed and soldered new capacitors on :)

When you right click an image and use the "search Google for this image " option it shows where else the image has been posted.

Again it's bullshit.

Original thread where you stole the image: http://forums.evga.com/m/tm.aspx?m=2383987&p=1

Nice try though.

By the way that's a 780Ti in the picture.

O.o what part of "looks similar to this" did you not comprehend?
