I'm assuming you have a prebuilt. You're better off getting a new power supply and a 750 ti. My buddy uses a 750ti with a 120hz monitor for csgo, so you'll have the option to get another monitor if you choose to.

looks like a prebuilt comp to me,

for cs, an i5 and mobo shd be more than enough overkill.

8320 is not on his motherboard's supported list. His MoBo only supports FX-x1xx Bulldozer chips (Like 8120)

Its possible it could have a bios update that will support more "recent" CPU's, but it isn't on Gigabyte's website.

keeping your current motherboard/ram/hdd ive edited Ghots list to include the only real viable upgrade you can do processor wise.. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/r2L4K8

but... for the price of upgrading, id simply reccomend saving up and just getting a whole new pc. its really up to you in the end wether you want to keep your current mobo/ram etc. or get something more modern that has better odds of being upgradable in a few years time.

its about 250-300 more than the upgrades for your current.. but FAR better in the long run.. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/y43HkL

might be advisable to post a budget and how extreme you want to go in upgrading your rig?

i mean honestly id consider spending a couple hundred bucks maybe to upgrade my current pc.. but if realistically its going to be around 350-450 it would be stupid and id be better off getting something new.... for what i use it for right now ( playing counter strike a couple times a week) with very very minor lag in certain situations.. its not really in my best interest to dump like 400 bucks into it... its probably best i run it till it blows up and start fresh
