by the way does anyone know how the rebates work, 2 items i bought had 30$ rebates, and those were the ones i was going to send in, but i have all the items, and ive opened both of them, and thier is no manufacturers rebate card, one was for microcenter case, and the other was for the evga power supply, but i look on pcpartpicker now and it doesnt even show them anymore. Anyone have any experience with this? Its not a huge problem, but it bugs me cause if id have known id have just turned off the rebate thing in the prices and ignored them completely.

rebate card isn't included in the package.. you were supposed to print off the rebate form from the retailer website link, fill in ur info, cut out the serial from the box, and mail it off. Then u get ur card, or cheque to you in few weeks if u followed their instructions properly.

ya i just saw it, it seems odd though cause they'll say 3/1-3/31, but if you bought the item on the 23th and it didnt arive until the first... how can you even get it when it says it has to be posted by certain date or whatever. its only 60 bucks in rebates but it kind of pisses me off, if id known i would have probably gone with other things.

You have to go buy the rebate of the date you purchase the item. So if it said Feb 1 - Feb 29th if you purchased it the 23rd you would have to submit it. Usually they give a window after the purchase window to have it submitted by. So for example maybe by like 3/15 it has to be submitted or you won't get the rebate, each mfr is different.

The date that says 3/1 to 3/31 simply mean, your purchase must land between these dates to be eligible.
Each rebate is usually due to be postmarked within X amount of days of purchase (most often 30, sometimes 60, but MSI does 14).

To do a rebate simply visit newegg and click print rebate.
Fill your form out correctly (mistakes get it denied)
Cut your upc, tape it to the form.
Sign and date the form.
cut out the address they tell you to mail it to, and tape to envelope.
print invoice from the order, circle the item for the rebate if you have many items on invoice. (not needed but helps)
take a picture for your evidence and mail it out.

doing all these steps will protect you against problems and most likely ensure you get your rebate quickly.
