Roughly what it would cost w/o monitor. I mean i wouldnt do that case unless you plan on customer water cooling loop. Which it does not seem like you are.

As for the windows software you can install it via USB and do not need a cd drive. Window is very cheap on sites like this: http://www.kinguin.net/

As for the PG279Q I love the god damn monitor. You do not need a 1k PSU, SLI 980ti will work fine on 850W.

THE MSI Seahawk got better performance over the Hybrid EVGA by a little bit, also no random wire for fan coming out of MSI version can easily replace with your own fans. Water cooled and i love it.

4 Cores 8 threads

We're not talking AMD here. Learn your CPUs. 4 threads run normally and 4 threads run at only 25%. I have hyperthreading turned off on my I7 for benchmarking purposes only. The extra threads actually slow performance by a little bit.

i'm just wondering when exactly will games require 4-6 cores

A lot of games somewhat require 4 cores in order to run smooth. In normal Windows conditions the hexacores only have the gained benefit of higher minimum frames while holding approximately the same average frame rate.

Now, if you talk about streaming, the video compression is done largely on the CPU. More overall power on the CPU = more power left to the game. The extra two cores can work on the stream while others work on the game and Windows needs.

I mean, the 6700K is no slouch by any means, the 5820K just happens to fit the description of your needs a tad bit better, especially when you factor in the budget. We're still talking about very close call here and the benefit comes with the added cost of the mobo so it's not a win-win situition, rather you get what you pay for.

I hope this clarifies :)

should i just fkin get a 5930k mobo with a x99 but it will cost almost 400-500$ more

i dont know if its even worth it to spend 500$ more

when in 3-4 years i will have to upgrade pretty much everything anyways

It is a very marginal improvement in terms of gaming performance and will most likely only affect your minimum framerate. If it is worth it depends on how much you value money. If money is not an issue then go for it. If you would rather spend that 500 dollar on a weekend vacation that you otherwise could not afford then go on holiday. Thats not a question that we can answer for you.
