that PSU is junk. Cheap caps and prone to failures. $1200 build with a garbage PSU.

WTF are you talking about, this PSU is way more then enough and reliable for this build. It has 4.23/5 user review rating on Newegg out of 292 reviews...
For a $1200 build, that is good enough for a PSU. Plz stop talking out of your ass.

However, I did find a deal on a better 650W PSU Gold+ certified and Fully modular. Also you can add 100W for $10 but you don't need it. (Only $2 more)

can get 750/850w b2 psu to save more $$$, but the 850w p2 is an absolute steal at that price after MIR.
10yr warranty, superflower oem, evga gfg support, enough power to use for future systems so wont need to purchase another psu later on

u can also fit a i7 6700k in a 1.2k build if you're going to make use of hyperthreading.

he's not wrong tho, especially for a 1.2k build.
Why ever cheap out on the power supply? especially when it needs to power a 390x and OC potential, CX wouldnt be ideal for that when there are better options out there nowadays.. as it's not 2009 anymore.

i wouldn't use newegg reviews as a reference.. cos u might as well recommend this really kewl raidmax blue psu since it's 4/5 based on 1300+ newegg reviews

and we all know how shitty raidmax psus are (hopefully)

I changed the PSU, and I just changed it again to give it 750W for $10 more.
Also, I changed the SSD's to 2 Kingston's SSDNow V300 which you can run in Raid 0 which will run much faster then the 850Evo and will give you 4 times the space, for a bit less then double the price.
You can use the 1TB HDD as a backup or just remove it if you don't need the backup, but would recommend it.

I already posted it in a different topic, but i simply want to make sure that josh87 has the right information:

The Kingston SSD is cheap for a reason.

I already know that the Kingston SSD is slower but that is mostly in write speed, but if he grabs 2 like I said and runs it in Raid 0, it should outperform the Evo in Reads by close to double -~10% and writes will be almost the same or a bit lower -~10-20%.
However, for his use he doesn't need fast write speeds.
He will also get 4 times the storage so 300% increase in space for about 90% more of the cost.

If he wants he can keep the 850EVO.

Thats the old revision. That why i posted the article (did you even read it??). The Specs are from when the SSD came out. Kingston swtiched suppliers and is now using a cheaper NAND which not only delivers as low as 170MB/S.
In Germany some of the cards are even listed with the current speeds of 190MB per second read and 140MB per second write

I've seen some benchmarks for the Kingston SSDNow V300, unboxed and tested within the last 1-6mths and reads getting on average 440-480MB for all of them.
So I don't know what you are talking about. The article you found is 2yrs old and it is one article without concrete evidence.

http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/SpeedTest/5115/KINGSTON-SV300S37A480G
Go here, and you can see avg are the following
Read 431
Write 210
Mixed 258

I looked at some from the past 2 months and they are about all over 480MB read and 280MB writes.
