What's your opinion on this h97?

That's actually a really good board and often overlooked.

Would you put it in front of the Anniversary and fatality? I don't really know what to look at as far as comparing numbers

And then where would the z97 fit in that assortment?

I would put it on top. Especially if I could find an unlocked 4690K at a reasonable price. I see them selling for good prices since people have gone Skylake.

i'm runnin MSI z97 gaming 3 myself and its dope, the gaming 5 is the same but with sli support

z97 is basically h97 with overclocking and sli support

he's got a 390, so if anything, he would need crossfire support

Which you can get with h97, although I'm not sure at what pci speeds and how much pci speeds matter

What is current?
