AMD = higher power requirements
Don't always go by clock speed as the deciding factor some games work just as well on a 3.2 GHz CPU as they would on a 3.6 GHz CPU.

not only should clock rate not be a deciding factor.. it has nothing to do with anything
if you're comparing the same architecture, with the same cache size.. only then does clock matter
