Ok so if the person selling them has 3 full sets of them, is there any way to find out if the ic chips were the same?

As far as I know there is no website with that info. I use Corsair Dominator Platinum, I had to call Corsair and ask.

But I would just buy a 3x 4GB kit. :)
Far less chance of any issues that way.

It just I only have 20$ 30 tops to spend on ram.

Atleast until I sell this extra psu, case, and gpu I have.

Should I just wait for now? Sell those parts and buy a more expensive set of ram?

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/P6T/specifications/ thats the motherboard.

I could then sell the current ram kit for 20-30$ more.

Reason I am not tryin to spend more than 20-30 on another ram kit is I want money for a headset also.

Unless you're multitasking like a mofo, or rendering, encoding etc...6GB should be fine, until you can just get a proper 12GB kit.

There's sites that break it down by serial number.

the game i play is ram, cpu, hd intensize. POE is not optimized at all basically. I am thinking I will just see how ti goes with 6 gbs I guess.... I am waiting on a computer screw and mobo standoff screw set, and a 16 gig thumbdrive to make a win10 iso so I can finish doing the build. I don't have enough standoffs or screws it seems I lose most of my extras during my move.

I guess while i have a few people here. I have an ocz 600w modular psu. The cable management is so easy with a modular... I also received a corsair tx850 non modular psu. How do people do proper cable management with a non modular? Am I am to disconnect all he unused cables within the psu to save room isnide my case? Unsolder then cap them or something.

The case I have is either a cougar spike which is a microatx, or i have my CM haf 912. If I use the modular I will be using the cougar spike and selling off my cm 912. I think the corsair may be the better psu to use though as I can possiblt add a second 270x if I can get one for cheap like I did with my original I got.

DON'T remove any cables on a non modular PSU...just find a place to hide the extras...like I did. :/

may just use my ocz modular for now then. THe amount of cables on this corsair is absurd as hell lol.

Or. Maybe make a custom box for next to the psu with some sheet aluminum since I will only have one ssd mounted down in that area any way
