Honestly, you don't need a PCI-e SSD, you can get a SATA SSD with double the size and half the price which is more than enough. With 500mb/s SATA SSD, You can load a 5GB file in 10sec which I highly doubt you will ever have to especially since your whole hard drive you plan to have is 128gb. If you had that completely full you can actually copy the whole hard drive in 4-5min which is the longest thing you could possibly do.
Your motherboard is way too expensive, you could hack off $200-250 off that and spend it on something better like a better CPU/RAM (since it's only at 2400Mhz)/GPU/Monitor. You are wasting money on totally useless things in your case which could be spent better.

For Hard Drive you can spend the same amount and get 2x 250GB SATA SSD's and set it up in Raid 0.

You showed a link of SATA vs PCI-E SSD's, well look up on youtube if it is worth it to get PCI-E SSD and reasons why you should, look it up on google. Your research is not done well.

Full tower case is just a random selection.

I do not pack rat 5TB of anything. I still have 75%+ unused from my 256MB HDD from 2005. That's WITH Windows XP SP3 and everything I primarily use (including 200mb game programming projects).

YouTube is an OK medium for research; Given everyone's e-peen (same flaw with benchmarking "scores" (kicking V-sync off.. Really?)): However: There are far too many discrepencies, differences in software, in general: Far too many truly unknown variables to make an accurate assessment based upon some absurd potentially misleading videos from persons being paid to biasly market one business over another.

Now, that aside: Making suggestions based on your personal thoughts without any hard evidence of what my intentions or daily use is very unhelpful. I listed very few games that are common, simply as a guide to give people an OK idea of very few activities I engage in. As stated: NOT an all inclusive list.

I have repeated myself more times than I have recieved answers to questions specifically asked.

The MOBO is a 1:1 of everything I am looking for. It is quite literally perfect in every aspect (high end on board audio is a plus).

Edit: Also just checked out the PCI-E SSD and the speeds are 770MB/S Read & 335MB/S Write.
If you get a Samsung 850 EVO SATA3 SSD ($110USD), the speeds are 540MB/S Read & 520MB/S Write. If you get 2 and set it up in RAID 0, it will be faster then the PCI-E card and 4 times the size for $20 more.
But honestly you don't need to even set them up in RAID 0, you can just get 1 and you won't even notice a difference of speed.

Now that is something I will look into! ;)

Thank you. :)

Keep in mind: Money isn't much of a concern.
I don't "own" 2 vehicles (aka buying). I own 2.

E/ Not to say I'm going to frugally throw $300 more on a CPU or $500 more on a GPU or $XYZ on storage space.

I will double check the RAM from the OP. I could've swore that was not the 2400.

Here.
Almost same price and has more space with SSD, better CPU cooler for OC'ing (Water Cooled), Better GPU, Better RAM @ 3200Mhz instead of 2400Mhz, Better PSU (even do it's 140W less, your full system will not even use 500W so you still have lots of room for upgrades), also bigger monitor, same as yours but 3" bigger.
Only thing that is worse in this system is the MOBO which honestly makes the least difference in your system.

It's not the Case I would go for myself, I would go for a Mid Tower ATX, Fractal R5 w/ window would be nice and quiet, but he is the one that wants a Full tower. It's not like he is going to be pushing his cpu like crazy I don't even think a RAD is necessary, but it looks like he wants the room to be able to expand and whatn ot.

$2000 for a computer that has an i5 and 970, wtf?

you can build a $2000 with a 980 TI and i7....
dont buy that build

remove that shitty XATX mobo. If you can't afford to quad SLI now, you shoulnt be buying it. And quad sli a 970 would be stupid.

Go buy a $170 motherboard with 980 ti and upgrade to i7 and you can thank me later. You can always SLI the 980 ti down the road which is more than enough to run 4k on ultra settings at 60+ fps

You like the last 3 posters failed to read the entire thread before posting.

Everyone's "suggestions" are akin to burning money for "fun."

i7 is utter garbage. Exact same clock speed as an i5-6600k. Show me a stable 6GHz+ OC'd chip and I'll go throw $900 at it. No? OK.

I know. Trolls get ignored.

"Shitty?" You must have some deluded conception of where these parts come from, and the quality demanded from Freescale and Applied Materials. ASUS-- Not even going there again.

980 Ti... Read thread. Then post.

Quad SLi? For what? Nothing supports that hardly. Been proven time & time again. Dedicated PhysX / two-way SLi is far superior.

"60FPS" might be your goal; Have you read the thread yet?

1080p is perfect for me. 4k isn't mainstream enough for myself yet.
