CPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113285
$200 - AMD FX-8320 8-Core 3.5 GHz (4.0 GHz Turbo)
Mobo: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131873
$125 - ASUS M5A97 w/ USB 3.0 and UEFI BIOS
RAM: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231615
$100 - 16GB 2x8GB 1866 (Can upgrade later by adding 2 more sticks)
HDD: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148834
$90 - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB (only $25 more than 1TB version)
SSD: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147372
$90 - 250GB SAMSUNG 850 EVO (I took the liberty to add this since they have a sale
on it of 50% and it will improve your computer's performance a lot, your boot time will be faster,
installing os, and other stuff. I believe an SSD is a must on any new PC, run your OS and programs
off this and for your storage like videos or w/e use the HDD)
Video Card : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150735
$210 - Radeon R7 370 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 (this should be good enough, but if you need
a better one you can remove the SSD and upgrade it to something a little better, the SSD is one of
the things that is definitely worth having for $90 especially a 250GB EVO, you can ask anyone in the forum)

Yes. I would get an aftermarket cooler like the 212 evo cause the amd ones are loud imo
i would spend the extra money to get a 370 with 4gb vram for sure.

best of both builds imo

Yes, I would recommend a after market cooler as well, but if you don't care about noise and not planning to overclock, you don't really need it. Just a little louder.
Also, getting a 4GB vram card would be recommended, but if you don't plan on using this computer to play high end games or photoshop or aything like that, then again not really needed.

For the case I would recommend ($160) - Fractal Design Define R5 Black Window
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352049&cm_re=define_r5-_-11-352-048-_-Product

You can also get it in white or titanium color and without a window which is $15 cheaper.
This case is one of the quietest cases in the market.

black & blue build
Base Total: $807.12
Promo Discounts: -$6.00
Mail-in Rebates: -$25.00
Shipping: $5.99
Total: $782.11

will give you better performance than the AMD builds listed above

also, i recommend u get a psu here, than at ur local shop. I can guarantee u that they'll sell u a shitty one, and/or overpriced.
They won't be able to beat evga b2 750 psu for $75.99 after MIR, quality & price wise.

dunno why u'd want a 3+ yr old outdated cpu, but here's red & black AMD build.
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/VWBhCJ
Base Total: $777.91
Mail-in Rebates: -$10.00
Total: $767.91

though if ur downgrading the CPU, might as well get a higher tier GPU to make up for it.
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZcGnbv
Base Total: $868.16
Promo Discounts: -$45.99
Mail-in Rebates: -$30.00
Shipping: $9.99
Total: $802.16
but keep in mind, GPU is the most common thing to upgrade in the future. AMD build will make u upgrade CPU before any much stronger GPU in the future. Especially since these CPU are alrdy 3+ yrs old.
kinda like those ppl having problems to upgrade now to play fallout 4 etc., they need to upgrade their x4 860k CPU AND GPU, cos it's gonna bottle neck it hard just by upgrading GPU.

wouldnt even bother paying for a 4gb 370, it won't utilize it to its full potential, better off gettin 2gb 960 or 4gb 380.

I would recommend going with 16GB RAM instead of 8GB, that way you can have a million things open without any lag.
And the 2TB hard drive which doesn't cost much more either

Total: $815.90 (That is only $36 more), especially the ram 8GB is not much nowadays, when the top smartphones have 4GB.

Here is an updated list.
