stayed within the 1k budget on both, depending on wether you will use mail in rebates or not.. 1k +/- without MIR

something better than the onboard.. and its one of only a few that fit in the size limitations of the case.. if you dont think it would be needed.. take it out of the equation and save yourself a few bucks, or upgrade a differnt component.. maybe more ram, or next step up cpu?

scratch my last intel build..

this one is far better.

Base Total: $1130.15
Combo Discounts: -$20.00
Mail-in Rebates: -$50.00
Total: $1060.15

i own and currently use the case ive chosen in this build. personally i love it, but case preference is really up to you...
