Went with a little different approach.

Middle of your budget. Not the new DDR4 setups but still a nice one.

Great build. He has room to include the tax, as well.

Some great choices to choose from. Was also recommended this build as well

So far I know im gonna be ordering the phantom 410 black
With some dust filters

Also the h100i gtx

Now just gotta decide if I should get the new Skylake processor's and matching mobo and ram or previous models.

I only really play d3 borderlands 2 csgo
Lost ark when it comes out.

If you're just gaming, an i5 will be enough. IMO, you should get an i5 and include an ssd in the build.

If you aren't overclocking, why do you want to spend so much on a cpu cooler?

Yea I'm thinking the i5 6600k. I'll most likely overclock if it's easy to do. I have a ssd and hdd already.

I heard that it was a good cpu cooler just need to change to noctua fans. Also need help choosing those for the desktop to replace for the cooler as well as how many I should get for the case

The skylake i5 is a great cpu. If you want to spend a bit more on hyperthreading then that's fine too since you already bought the storage.

It is a great cooler, but you can spend less since you aren't overclocking. The cooler master 212 plus (or evo) and corsair h60 are great aftermarket coolers for the price.

Noctua fans are great and quiet, but they are expensive. Especially if you want to fill your whole case. Corsair, be quiet, and cooler master are some others I suggest. Iirc when it comes to corsair fans, high air flow is for the case and static pressure is for radiators/cpu coolers.

Okay so here it goes. If you are gaming strictly you will only need an i5. If you are heavy into rendering you will use a i7. Most games do not utilize the hyperthreading that i7 offers.
Also you keep going with a better processor than you do a video card it seems. Video cards are very important for gaming. You seem to not be playing many crazy games though.

I went with a higher end system that will give you a long time of gaming due to the 8GB of VRAM and its a newer vid card.

If you want newer, here you go.

Yea at this time I'll probably go with a 970 as its a pretty good deal and I don't really need a really end end graphics card. I'd rather upgrade a video card in the future over a cpu and motherboard.

Would you guys recommend the gigabyte z170 5 mobo or asus z170 pro gaming?
Or any other mobo?

So far:

I5 6600k
Asus 4gb 970
H100i gtx cooler
Nzxt phantom 410

Based on that you may as well just go with the R9 390, more VRAM than the GTX 970. Also for ram I always go with G.Skill. As for speed 2400 is fine, you dont need 3000 or 3200.

As for the Gigabyte VS ASUS, Go for the ASUS.
