I thought AMD made pretty much the same product? I've heard tons of good reviews from both sides?

E/ Do I want a full tower or med? Whats the honest difference, my dad helped me build my last one. So I am still fairly inexperienced. So everything everyone says is giving me impressions <3

AMD released their last cpu in 2012
Intel releases it almost yearly, they released their 6th Gen recent months ago.
They're both good, just giving you a heads up you're spending money on older tech, when you can easily afford intel.

What do you think of WWI build?

I7 is a waste of money if you intend to use your computer only for gaming. It's more beneficial and worth it, if you render videos and edit etc. For a living.

I7 doesn't overheat, heating would depend on your computer room temp, cable management inside your case, and the case itself and cpu fan.

His build is good, I'd just change the power supply to a b2 version instead of b1 (better maker) and ssd to Samsung.

I was thinking the same with the samsung ssd.

Also what would you think about putting an intel i5- 4690k in it instead?

Also what do you think about these? Or keep the ones he reccomends? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231615&_ga=1.175858849.2085383075.1422053589

Also what about this power supply? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152048&_ga=1.175858849.2085383075.1422053589

wouldn't buy the raidmax personally, they are a poor psu maker.
the evga b2 is of the highest quality you can purchase, i would also vouch for it, though keep an eye on price, usually its a bit cheaper (50 after rebate, 80 without rebate)
as for the ram, get the blue ones if you want. as far as gaming is concerned, all ram performs equally enough and has a lifetime warranty.

4690k
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/p9MYxr
Base Total: $1343.64
Mail-in Rebates: -$70.00
Total: $1273.64

6600k
http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/cthNMp
Base Total: $1398.53
Mail-in Rebates: -$60.00
Total: $1338.53

case is up to you, assuming you like flashy stuff so i picked spec 02 case
but nzxt s340 is a nice case too, less flashy but sexy
get 16gb ram if you wanna spend more $$, but 8gb is enough

6600k will give you slightly better performance, and would last a lil longer. Depends if you wanna save $$ or spend it
the power supply you picked isn't good, raidmax is unreliable
