Blu-Ray reader/writer
lots of storage
Quiet case and fans (no need to hear your PC in the middle of a movie)
Basic sound card, gives you optical out for running to a surround sound, you can drop it if you plan to use HDMI, some Blu-ray playback softwares will not do surround sound through HDMI unless you pay more, so it may be more economical to use the card
APU for integrated graphics and low price
8 gigs of ram
Aftermarket cooler, not for cooling purposes but for noise reduction
Added a card reader because it isn't really a media center if you cant easily load your videos/music
Wifi card included

Son of a bitch

that's what I get for staying up too late, I must have copied the damn URL and not the build link....

Thank god this thing has parts history...

The graphics is built into the processor, you can choose to use an external GPU but it isn't necessary and will only generate more noise and heat

You can remove the Blu-Ray and it will be <$500cad

Probably not a bad idea to add a card reader either

How come?

There are a few other options, but the next cheapest is $56 and is almost the same (same brand, similar specs)

Past that, this Gigabyte is the next cheapest

Others are going to be $65+
