I just realized I won't need the Hard Drive either, and since this only has 4gb of ram should I get an 8gb instead?

I'd also get rid of that ugly case, probably get the Fractal Design Core 1100, and maybe switch out the Corsair Builder 430w for the Antec Green 450w psu for $5 cheaper

Buy that, maybe a couple cheap fans. Then maybe save a little more money and buy a "used" gpu.

Nothing wrong with that and then you can get a bad ass gpu for the price or cheaper of a new Gtx 950
2 days ago I bought a non ref R9 290 for only 140$ and I believe I can flash it to a 290X...

You will have a bad ass computer then
Or just save more (or increase budget like 100$ more) and buy something like a GTX 960)

Even on the lowest resolution possible, windowed mode, with all settings as low as they go it would not change a thing. I have an R7 370 and maybe it's just the perfect mix of not that powerful but too demanding on that processor where it'd struggle but idk
