I don't think Tiger direct has as large of an inventory as NCIX does. If they have the parts and they'll build it for you, I don't see why not.

Didn't Tiger Direct close their stores?

NCIX has a store at First Markham Place and another at 14th and Birchmount. Canada Computers has a store on Warden and Hwy 7.

I usually go to the one on Birchmount. It's their warehouse. The FMP store usually has good stock for computer parts though.

Is the ram you bought DDR4 or DDR3? The new i5 is optimal with DDR4, but DDR3 varient motherboards are also available.

Great thank you. Really appreciate it.

I think I'm going to go with this year's i5 build and drop the RAM to save myself some money (forgot to mention I just recently purchased 2x4G Kingston Blues).

So total build will likely end up being $1,100 ish.

Maybe Tiger Direct will be able to manage this sort of thing. There is a store about 15 mins from me that I used to build my last PC, so I might try them simply for convenience sake.

The 6600k uses ddr4 ram, Your 2x4gb sticks of ddr3 won't work.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL My G's move silent like lasagna.

Dutch, if your ram is DDR3. You'll need one of these motherboards.

These are motherboards for the new i5, but they're compatible with DDR3 ram.
